Creating your account and joining your community
Make your HOA-I account and join your community, from an invitation email or by finding your HOA and asking to join.
1Got an invitation email from your board? Click the link in it. The sign-up page opens with your email and community filled in, so you only choose a password.
2No invitation? Go to hoa-i.com, click Log In, then "Create an account".
3If your community already uses HOA-I, click "Find it and join". (Board members setting up a new community choose "I'm on my HOA's board" instead.)
4Type your email address, then start typing your community's name under "Find Your HOA" and pick it from the list.
5Enter your full name and your home's street address.
6Choose a password (at least 8 characters, with a letter and a number or symbol) and type it again.
7Click "Create Account & Join", or use "Continue with Google" instead of a password.
8Check your email and click the link to verify your address. Your board approves your join request, and then you can sign in.
Sign in with email, Google, or Apple, and link a Google or Apple login to the HOA-I account you already have.
1Go to hoa-i.com and choose Sign In.
2To use email: type the email address your community has on file, type your password, and click Sign In.
3Forgot your password? Click "Forgot password?" and follow the emailed link to make a new one.
4To use Google or Apple: click "Continue with Google" or "Continue with Apple".
5Linking: if your Google or Apple login uses the same email address as your existing HOA-I account, HOA-I links them automatically. Same account, same community, same history.
6If your Google or Apple email is different, sign in with your original email instead, or ask your board to invite the new address.
